Overview
The 5-Day Marangu Route Kilimanjaro climb takes you to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” Marangu is the only Kilimanjaro route with overnight stays in mountain huts.
The trek starts at Marangu Gate and passes through rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and the arctic zone. Along the way, you will stay at Mandara, Horombo, and Kibo huts.
Finally, you will make the challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres. Although Marangu has a gradual trail and hut accommodation, the summit climb still requires good preparation.
With an experienced guide and professional porters, you can enjoy a well-supported Kilimanjaro trekking experience.
