Arusha to Ndutu – Afternoon Game Drive

Your 4-day Ndutu calving season safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Travel towards the Ndutu region through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Arrive at your lodge or camp later in the day. Settle in, enjoy dinner, and prepare for an early start the following morning to explore the Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater for an approximately five-hour game drive.

Descend into the crater and explore its remarkable landscape of grasslands, woodland, freshwater pools, and marshes. The crater supports a high concentration of wildlife and offers opportunities to see several iconic African species.

Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Your safari guide will help you search for wildlife and explain the crater's ecosystem.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater visit, subject to the day's arrangements. After the game drive, ascend the crater walls and begin your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
