Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), located about 46 kilometers from Arusha, you will be warmly greeted by your Ron Adventure safari guide. After a short briefing, you’ll be transferred in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser to your lodge in Arusha.
Once checked in, take some time to relax and enjoy lunch at the lodge. You can spend the afternoon unwinding by the pool, or if time allows, take a leisurely walk around the city to experience its lively atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and rest as you get ready for the safari adventure ahead. Overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge
After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park to experience a unique canoe safari on the Momella Lakes. Paddle gently for about 2 to 2.5 hours along the tranquil lake shores, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness. The park is home to a rich variety of bird species, including pink flamingos, pelicans, herons, and African fish eagles. Keep an eye out for hippos wallowing in the shallows, as well as giraffes, buffaloes, and bushbucks grazing nearby.
From your canoe, enjoy stunning views of Mount Meru, and on a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
After lunch, continue your journey southward to Tarangire National Park (approximately 120–140 km, a 2–3-hour drive). Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a short introductory game drive as you enter the park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
Settle into your mid-range tented camp or lodge near the park and relax as you take in the sounds of the African bush. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Spring Lodge.

Here, you can encounter massive elephant herds, sometimes numbering over a hundred individuals, along with prides of lions, including those that occasionally climb trees. The park’s open grasslands and acacia woodlands are also home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelope species.
Tarangire’s mix of savannah, swamps, and acacia forests offers diverse scenery and excellent opportunities for photography throughout the day. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Spring Lodge.
After breakfast, depart from Tarangire and travel westward toward Lake Manyara National Park, located about 110 km (approximately 2–3 hours) away.
