Day 01 :

Arusha to Tarangire - Karatu

Your game drive will begin as soon as you arrive at the Tarangire Gate. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, impressive baobab trees, and the rich concentration of wildlife along the Tarangire River. You will explore different areas of the park in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, buffalo, and many species of birds.

At midday, you will take a break for a picnic lunch inside the park, where you can enjoy the scenery and watch the animals. After lunch, continue with a relaxed afternoon game drive as you head toward the exit gate.

Later in the afternoon, proceed to the charming town of Karatu, located in the Ngorongoro highlands. Upon arrival at your hotel, check in, relax, have dinner, and overnight at Marera Valley lodge

Day 02 :

Karatu- Ngorongoro crater- Arusha

Proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast at the accommodation. The renowned Ngorongoro Crater, dubbed the eighth wonder of the world, is around 600 meters away. One method to explore one of Africa's wildlife-rich regions is to drive around the crater. If you want to view all five of the big five—lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo—in one day, this is one of the best spots on the planet. Leopards, however, are more difficult to identify. There are numerous bird species at the bottom of the pit, along with gazelles, zebras, hyenas, and hippos.

You have found the ideal picnic area near the Hippo Pool, where you can unwind, have lunch, take pictures, and take in the scenery. You have to climb a crater to get to Arusha after the marathon.
